Norwich Research Park Lab

We wanted to share a few shots of one of our current projects: work on a new lab at the Norwich Research Park.

Our work so far has involved installing SFS (steel frame system) which is forming the external wall linings, clad with Versapanel – a cement bonded particle board.

There are lots of great reasons to use SFS – it’s lightweight but high strength and it tends to be much quicker than traditional block work to install. The steel sections are also 100% recyclable, so it’s no surprise that we’re seeing more and more of this type of work coming our way.

These pictures show the SFS at various stages.

We’re soon to start the next stage of work on this project which will include internal walls, linings and suspended ceilings. We’ll share the progress as we go!
