Introducing our new apprentices

Following a successful return to the world of apprentices last year, we’re pleased to announce that we’ve taken on two new apprentices. Lewis Church (22) and Ray Urry (17) began with us on 10th September as part of their NVQ in Plastering with City College Norwich. Having traditionally focused on commercial interior fit outs, the…

We’ve been celebrating along with two of employees who’ve both just passed their NVQ Level 2. Alex Lemmons (L) and Mick Newbury (R) both learnt alongside some of our top fixers and are now fully qualified members of the team. Alex and Mick have enjoyed learning new skills and we’re really proud of their progress.

It’s almost a year since we welcomed our last group of apprentices. It was the first time in 15 years that we’d opted to take on apprentices – you can read all about it in this EDP article. So, one year on, how has it all gone? We’re pleased to report that it’s been a…

Acoustic solution for apartments: Greytown House, Colchester

Like in phase one we used Soundhush wall panels, in purple and white, and Rockfon Blanka dB ceiling tiles. We are pleased with the outcome of this…

Bespoke Smoked Glass Office

We recently finished this project near Norwich. We used Komfort Polar Single Glazed partitions, which is something we do a lot of. But this time there was a bespoke smoked grey finish to the glass and doors. With the white aluminium frame, the finished look is stunning. We also built and completed all the solid…

Look at this lovely light, bright project we recently completed in Chelmsford for Cadman Construction. We supplied and installed the Sonik double glazed doors and double glazed partitioning in the company’s corporate RAL coloured framework. We supplied and installed the manifestation on the windows with a design taken from the client’s logo. We also completed the…

Office Refit: Matching Existing Styles

We recently completed this project within an office block on the outskirts of Norwich. We installed these Komfort Komfire 75 demountable partitions, with double glazed units and integrated blinds. Our challenge was to match the existing style already on site. We had to pay particular attention to the window head detail infill – all RAL…
acoustics in sports hall

Hewett School, Norwich

We recently completed a job for Kier Construction, working on the new Jane Austen Sports Hall at the Hewett School in Norwich. Most activities that take place in a sports hall are noisy. The size of the space means sound reverberates, bouncing off the walls and ceiling. It can make it impossible for students to…
